Every summer, I make multiple visits to the Wisconsin State Fair to paint the animals. I have come to look for the diminutive, lovely owl pigeons to paint. This image depicts the same male bird from two different angles put together in one scene. The young man who owned the bird was very proud of him, as he should be, as this is such a beautiful animal.
