Raven's Spirit

Acrylic on Wood, 2009 The top painting of my Mesa Verde National Park triptych depicts one of my favorite birds, the raven, atop fire burned trees. My goal here was to capture the sky and spiritual aspect of Mesa Verde, with the raven looking to the heavens.
